Default Prop tape on Hartzell CS

Anybody have any before and after specs or experience on cruise speed using prop tape on a Hartzell CS? RV6 IO360 B1B 24 squared 166kts true 8000 feet. Trying to get my cruise speed up. Bought it with tape installed. If it'll give me 3 kts I'll take it off. The prop has the standard blades, not blended airfoil.

A little curious how you achieve 24 squared at 8,000 ft. Std pressure at 8,000 ft is about 22 in. hg.

You're right. MP was wrong in the post. It's like you say, about 22" and 2400 RPM.

Had the tape on RV8 many years ago. Saw no difference with it on so when it started peeling off I trimmed it.
