Default Electric Flaps

I started this yesterday

The system is designed and took about 5 hours of design time to date and about 3.5 hours to build the torque linkage shown.
I need to design the cover and the electric circuit and find out if it can be linked to the Skiview.
I estimate about 20 to 30 Hours to add this feature

If anyone could measure the distance between and the height of the seat cushions it would be a big help.

Thanks

I think you would be spending at least dozens to a couple hundred hours + in design and fabrication though.

Simpler would be to maybe leave the flap handle area alone and mount a piper-style throttle quad under the panel.

Default Center console throttle

Ed
I remembered seeing a photo of an RV-12 with a center console throttle and searched around in the bookmarks and found this photo of what appears to be a throttle quadrant/center console in an RV-12. Appears it IS possible. If anybody recognizes this instillation, I too would be very interested in hearing about the details of the throttle/console instillation.

John-G - that photo is from the Flightlineinteriors website (or one just like it is posted there). Perhaps Abby could point you in the correct direction. It does look great!

Default RV-12 "new" Throttle Console

I'm install a Viking 130 and "adding" the new RV-12 Throttle Console.
I hate Venterie power levers, but Love a center Throttle setup.
Base on my current analysis , it should not be too difficult to make the "improvement"
