Default Canopy deck painting

hey QQ - what color are you painting the canopy deck? The same as the interior? Or the same as the exterior? It seems like it could go either way....

you mean the part of the fuselage that is under the canopy when it is closed? (above the instruments)? I've only seen it painted as if its an external surface.

I painted mine using JetFlex ... the canopy deck matches my interior color.

originally i was going to have it painted along with the exterior but now i'm leaning towards painting it the same as the interior.

Thx for all the replies

Just to be sure, you are talking about removable sheetmetal that covers the instrument bay? If so, I have never seen anyone paint this other that same as exterior paint scheme. I guess there's always a first..
