Question Texas paint shops?

Hi VAF,

Who do you like for paint in Texas?

I've spoken with GLO Custom already, but I image there are other good folks to talk to as well.

Thanks,
David

Top Gun Aircraft painted my friends RV-7A. He is located at the Mason County airport. Did a real nice job. His contact number is 432-210-9766. I am going to get him to quote my aircraft next year.

Paul Armstrong with SkyWest Aviation in Midland TX did mine, I'm entirely happy with their work. His office is at KMAF and the paint booth is a few miles south at 7T7. 432-934-5334.

Last time I checked with Grady at Glo Custom he was quoting me 14 months, that was longer than I wanted to wait.

Built an off-plan 9A with too much fuel and too much HP. Should drop dead any minute now.

These guys are in San Marcos I believe. I don’t have any direct experience with them, but they’re supposedly an excellent shop. They have a working relationship with Scheme Designers.
