Default Anti servo tab hinge

Hi all - before I need yet another Anti servo tab hinge someone please give me a " Yes", "no you're crazy" about this;

I'm going to take the new hinge apart, cut one piece to whatever the length is (dont have the plans in front of me think it was 32 1/2).

Make sure there is a full tooth on both ends

Check the hinge gauge to make sure the little notch is pointing up this time

Drill all the holes making sure not to flip the guide

Rivet the hinge to the AS tab.

Right?

The plans call for a full tab on the stab hinge also, how can that be? If I do that the hinge is offset from the one on the AS tab. Is that supposed to happen? Seems wierd....I can't tell since I'm assuming you actually install the AS tab sometime later, I haven't seen that in the emp plans so far.

As installed on the finished assembly the two hinge halves are offset from each other by 1/2" (one hinge loop).
