Default prop extension

My catto prop is ready.
Does anyone know which prop extension size is used with an IO-320-D1A on a VANs RV-9A cowl.

Thanks

Call Sam at Saber MFG. He'll set you up with the correct extension, bolts, etc.

Default prop extension hardware from Catto

Hi Ray

Since I was getting all the hardware through Catto I wanted to confirm with people who had this configuration already. I see from DWG C-4 it looks like it's a 2 1/2" extension but that's based on 0-320.

As a sanity check I want to make sure from those who have installed an
IO-320-D1A on the extended VANs cowl whats known to be correct.

Thanks

Sam would know that information. Catto gets the hardware from him and can also source the extension with your order.

Call Sam to be sure. I've got a 320-D1A on a -9A with a fixed-pitch Catto 2-blade, and IIRC it's a 2.25" extension. The extension-to-crank flange bolts were the larger of the two sizes listed, so make sure you get the extension with the larger bolt holes.

Default thanks both

and VANS confirmed regardless of combo (cowl/engine) fixed pitch is always a 2.25" extension.

Greatly appreciated.
