Page 38.08 cautions you to follow the instructions precisely for the following pages. Therefore I am scared of following my instincts and countersink C-01408 before riveting using 426 rivets in step 5 on page 38-09.

Can someone confirm that the holes in C-1408 should be countersunk?

I've uploaded the RV-10 plans page detailing the J-stiffener match drilling. I hope this works!

Hope this helps! Please insure that you cut the J-stiffener to the length specified in the RV-14 plans

Plans are here: Aileron trim is installed in right wing. If you're talking about autopilot servo, also installed in right wing, Garmin version here:

You can order the kit directly from Van's - look for "EA 10 Kit"

I just did this kit - photos in my blog (see signature).
