How to remove fuel tank ?

I have all the screws out and the tank skin dimples lifted with aluminum strip so they are not in the spare flange counter sinks. It will not move ! I am concerned about prying against the spare for fear of causing a tank leak. I have read here that folks take tanks off.

Any spggestions appreciated .

Did you get all of the bolts through the Z-brackets on the spar? thsi is a "B"-wing....right?

Z brackets ?

Thanks Paul . I only see one Z bracket on the fuse end of the tank.
I didn' build the wings but I only see one z bracket.

I believe there are 7 Z-Brackets, and 21 AN bolts that need to come out.

They range from not to bad, to holly **** they are hard to get to.

Ask me how I know....

Problem solved !!

Thanks so much for the help guys. After consulting the plans, I now understand the term z brackets (PLURAL). We are on the path to success thanks to you. VAF is simply priceless.
