I riveted the bottom left elevator stiffeners with little issue until I reached the last rivets near the folded edge. I was able to create plenty of room for the rivet gun but because the skin flexes and I had to hold it down with one hand my rivets tended to tip forward. I included 3-4 photos of each rivet and would like to know if I should drill out and replaced. They are mostly flush on the shop head but slightly proud, I can just get a fingernail on the edge. Anyone use pulled rivets here? not sure if there would be a better result.
With rivet number two, I already drilled it out and replaced. The rivet pushed out backwards while backriveting when the skin popped up inadvertently. The black is RTV that I put under the tip of each stiffener.
