Recently updated my D-180 software to the latest version and now the autopilot does not interface for navigation. The Nav and Track buttons do not light up when pressed. Heading and altitude functions are OK.
I set the unit to output NMEA data as called out in handbook (page 124) but no go.
What should the setting be?

Check your servo's have power, do a DSAB network configure and then do a AP servo calibration.

GPS needs to be in NMEA and Normal
Serial input needs to be Auto.

You need Satellites to be in view.

Had the same thing happen to me, check to see if your GPS has Nema out, Aviation/VHF...there is a thread on this that I started, mine was a Garmin 495 that I updated as per Dynon instructions, they say to have your GPS set to the latest firmware...it some how defaulted so I had to add it again...go to your settings menu on GPS.
