STL Files?
Guys,
I just got my fist printer a few weeks ago and have printed a few useful items that i use in the shop. This morning i decided to print a 91.4 degree angle block used to set the elevator push tube length on the RV10. It is another one of those things that could be done a 100 other ways and most of them would be quicker than the 3D print but it is still more practical than printing a trinket. I am always looking for something practical to develop my CAD skills.
My first really good print was a set of brackets that slide over the 3/4" shelving in the shop. The new brackets hold the plans so they don't lay on the work bench.
So, how do I share this STL file with anyone? I don't do Dropbox, and emails sounds like a pain, especially if a file becomes popular. I guess my suggestion would be that I share files on one or more of the popular STL file sharing sites like Thingyverse.
