Proper heater hose

Just a quick question. Is the black hose that came with the Van's kit OK to use for the heater hose? Seems like I have only seen the orange type of hose used on other aircraft. I previously used the black hose for the cabin ventilation.

That hose is used for fresh air only.

The black hose is for the NACA vents to the vent nozzles in the panel. Use the Orange hose for the heater and alternate air. The orange hose is the correct hose to use in the cowl area, not the black hose.
