I installed new Superior cylinder assemblies and pistons on my RV-10 yesterday and today. I kept the original 8.5:1 compression ratio. Just trying to plan ahead when I go back up north to finish the job and break in the cylinders and rings. Will I need to place the aircraft back into Phase One for 5 hours? I forgot to look at my Operating Limitations before I came back home and won't be going back until after Thanksgiving. Thanks in advance!

Correct

Aerhead is correct. I just did the same on my RV-10. I did stay over top of the field for 3 hours, though. :)

Only modifications that affect the flight characteristics of the airplane require reentry into Phase I, such as a different propeller (fixed pitch to c/s), winglets, addition of floats, etc.

Yep......

Vic and aerhed are correct. A new phase I is only required for a major change, not repairs.
