Help promoting GA to local airport KBAZ hiring new manager
What resources are out there to help educate those hiring a new airport manager to the benefits of GA (general aviation)? Our outgoing airport manager at KBAZ New Braunfels, TX was was not a fan and most considered hostile to GA.
Does AOPA or EAA have a team that can lobby for GA and educate? Due to my employment situation, I can't be front and center although I quietly promote GA behind the scenes when I can. Any other resources you can think of?
I enjoy the excuse to fly to San Marcos or Georgetown for fuel, EAA meetings, Fly-ins, the EAA Tri-Motor visit next month, maintenance plus anything aviation related besides a t-hanger but it would be nice to have those options at my home field.
