malfunctioning ap servo or head

Hey guys i finally got the chance to fly my rv4 solo today and while doing some checks i decided to try the ap. Its an opd navaid and right now i was trying to use the wing leveler. On engaging it immediately went to full left aileron. Just wondering if its a servo or head problem and if someone else encountered this without breaking the bank to repair. Thanks

Can you replicate the issue on the ground?

Might be a better place to test the AP.

Yes. I tried it after i landed with thecsame results.
