Paint Color, Inside of Tailcone

Although the bulkheads are SEM gray and the side skins are zinc chromate, I had the sense to paint the top skin with a white epoxy primer. The idea was to make future maintenance easier by reflecting more light inside.

Today, during the assembly process, I was working inside. And I've got say how nice that white was. Strongly recommended.

I only have experience with two primers that seem to work for this, but there are certainly others. The type of paint doesn't matter; white or light gray is the goal. The two are:

Stewart's Ekopoxy in white.

Eastwood's rattle can 2K Aerospray Epoxy primer, in gray. It's a very light gray.

Both paints have their quirks, but both of them are epoxies and so far seem to be tough enough for this. Of the two, I prefer the EkoPoxy.
