If a gps antenna like a GA35/36/37 or GA56 is located under a glareshiled or cowling location (popular locations) does the orientation matter? I understand the teardrop shape being aerodynamic when installed on exterior skin and the round end being oriented "forward". But under a composite cover does the "forward" direction arrow in the installation drawings matter?
