Wheel pants ???

Just curious, and would like as much input as possible. I fly a 1987 short gear 4 with a160 Lyc & a Sensi 70" X 79" pitch prop. Have the orig wheel pants on the bird. Vans website says the newer 2 pc pants will give an increase of 5-6 mph.
If so, seems like a lot of bang for the bucks. What's your experience ?

I gained about 5 kts. when I went to the "Dolly Parton" wheel paints.

We gained an honest 6 knots when we upgraded the RV-6 from the original pants to the new style.

Ditto, Mel & Paul.....how difficult to install what you receive from Vans? Do you get mounting brackets specific to your ship?....or are they universal? Thx.
