Reklaw fly-in?

There'll be 6-8 planes and 12-14 people from the Lone Star Squadron (Houston) there beginning tomorrow.

You're actually right. Reklaw was originally intended to be Walker, Texas, but that was already taken.

Reklaw is near Rusk, which is in the north central part of east Texas. ;)
 
I'd go but Petite Jean RV gathering is this weekend too. Reklaw is fun though. Quite a diverse crowd of planes there when I went a couple years ago.
 
I was there just for Friday. The weather was great and they were having record numbers for early in the weekend. Didn't hear how the final numbers were. Here's a video I made of my trip.

Cool overfly video. I was there a few years ago, two rows of planes deep on the west side. I had a great time.
