Ok about to drill firewall for brakeline bulkhead fittings
plan to locate holes just above lower engine mount gusset close to fuselage side looks cleaner to me and less chance to interfere with rudder pedal travel. Tell me what you did and how it worked out.

If you haven't done it already, put the engine mount in place to make sure that you won't have interference between the AN fittings (they stick out a bit) and the mount. As long as you stay clear of that, you' should be OK.
 
Or you could ditch the bulkhead fitting and run a -3 braided hose from caliper to brake cylinder. Penetrate fuselage with grommet inside cheek cowl extension then down firewall to gear leg to caliper. Worked just fine on my -3 and -4.

Brake lines

Engine mount is on rudder pedals in I like the al line up the back of the gear; simple inside the cockpit I would like to use -3 hose with -4 fittings if. I can get it that way
