I sent the following message to Gus at Vans, but am posting it here because some of you are ready to start on the wiring.
"Gus.
I could not get the BNC connector for the radio to go through the space between the rudder pedals and the panel floor no matter how hard I tried, so I lowered the rudder pedals a bit to get it by. I thought that as long as I was doing that antenna wire, I should route the transponder antenna wire too before I tightened up the rudder pedals. I searched everywhere, but could not find any mention of the transponder antenna wire installation. It is shown on the picture, but there is no instruction to install it. I removed the snap bushing in the instrument floor, cut it, put the wire through it and installed the transponder antenna wire."
