This would be impractical for building a 12. You need a portable tool and this one looks like it needs a support structure to handle the weight of the tool. This would probably work great on a Boeing 787. The pneumatic riveters are heavy enough as they are. Just get one from Avery and be done with it.
 
Harbor Freight (air tool division)

I bought the $39.99 Central Pneumatic air hydraulic riveter item number 93458-1AYH. As soon as it came I got the new catalog 162-B Spring 2008 and found on page 41 the same riveter for $29.99. Maybe I will order a back up. I know their 19.99 nail guns have outlasted my Brand name guns.
Jim, what is the primer that you are using on the flaperons?

check out their online store as well....the dad owns the retail stores and the son owns the online store. they sell the same products but many differences in prices. I found that with the rivet puller i purchased.
