Yes, Mark has been supplying the airboat for years with some of those applications being at very high continuous power, dragging nets. These guys are not new to the game. Lots of real world hours turning props.

I don't agree with Mark on the turbo aspects. You won't get compressor stall with a small OEM turbo, you'll get high CDTs, choked flow and overspeed. Also not keen on the unsupported turbocharger installation with no slip joints. This header better be made of .090+ wall 321 SS or Inconel to last, built like this.

This engine won't hold rated power to 30,000 feet either. That would be a pressure ratio of over 5 to 1.

That being said, he's got a tremendous number of hours into developing all these engines, mounts and PSRUs. The atmo engines look impressive for the prices being charged. Glad to see he's dynoing the engines (each one). Seems like he's doing most of this process right.

I wish him good luck. We need someone to shake up the established powerplant companies, especially with lower prices.
