Talking Bermuda turf runway at "TVL"

This is about as good as the grass gets on my runway . We've had lots of rain this spring. Hey Triple Tree what do you think about this one. Maybe not as long or wide and has a house on one end but the Bermuda grass looks really good!!

I considered buying that house a couple of years before I met you and your family. Pretty house overlooking an airfield. Ain't nothing wrong with that...

Default Grass

All of us volunteers at Triple Tree know exactly how much work it takes to get a runway looking like this. Great job and congratulations!

Iím disappointed! After reading the title I thought there was a new grass runway near me, at South Lake Tahoe (KTVL), CA.

We're not on any Av map. Just a north Ga hay field. Everyone around here calls it TVL in their user waypoints., wasn't aware there was a real one! Besides Bob, there's not that much grass in CA in JULY unless you can irrigate!!!

KTVL is at 6,000í MSL in the Sierra Nevada Mts; gets enough thunderstorms to be green in the summer. White in the winter.

Dennis was gracious and invited me to come fly in his 9 off his grass strip. Only 1 1/2 hour drive from my home. His airplane is beautiful and the flight was awesome. I am now waiting on my new to me 9 to be ready for me to finally go pick her up. Hopefully next week. A very long time looking for the right airplane. Thank you Dennis. I really appreciated the flight in your airplane and your hospitality.

It almost appears to be improved by pumpkin residue.
