Default Beringer Master cylinder length

OK folks, I'm installing Beringer brakes on my 14A and I'm trying to determine what dimension to set my length at on the master cylinders. Center to center on the rod ends connected to both ends of the master cylinder. Thought a good length to start with would be the length of the stock master cylinders that Vans supplies with their kit as they, from what I have seen, do not have any adjustment. Does anyone know what that length is? Thoughts anyone?

I just installed per Berenger instructions - length wasn't much of an issue as far as I recall. Here are some photos on my blog:

Default Matco Master Cylinder Length

I installed my Beringer Master Cylinders after measuring the Matco ones. They measured 7 & 15/32". I think I called it 7 & 1/2 and put them in. Seems to be a good length.
