Default SOLD 2 USED E-MAG ELECTRONIC IGNITIONS 114 SERIES

FOR SALE – 2 USED E-MAG ELECTRONIC IGNITIONS 114 SERIES, these are the Internal Transition P models, they only have 19 hours on them. They worked flawlessly until I had an issue with the circuit board in the right mag. I sent both the right and left mags back to E-Mag and they replaced the circuit board in the right mag and gave it a clean bill of health and they also checked out the left mag and also gave it a clean bill of health as well. They have never been reinstalled since I got them back so these are fresh from E-Mag.

These E-Mags have never been overheated, see original factory heat stickers and then the stickers that I added when I installed them originally. They show they have never been over 190 degrees F. I used Blast Tube cooling on them from the very beginning as E-Mag specifies. While they were back at E-Mag, they installed Firm ware revision 41 which was the newest revision as of February 2018. While I was waiting for them to come back I put my original Bendix magnetos back in. My engine is a Lycoming IO 360 and it has 10.5 to 1 compression so I never used the advanced at altitude ignition timing feature of the E-mag. I used the Electronic Ignition Commander to program the timing to not exceed 22.5 degrees as my engine required. Because of this I was not really taking advantage of the E-mags efficiency and I just decided to just leave the stock Bendix magnetos in and that is why I am selling everything.

The EI Commander works fantastic, you can program pretty much anything you want plus you can watch on the screen how much advance you have at any given time. Plus you can get an idea of the health of the whole system. Bill at EI Commander is fantastic to work with and very helpful, also Brad at E-Mag was also extremely helpful and courteous. Both companies were excellent to work with. The E-mag installation instructions are on their website. The EI Commander comes with their manual.

I paid $3475 in June of 2017 to E-Mag for everything you see except the EI Commander. The EI Commander was from Aircraft Spruce and I paid $600 for that, so I have about $4075 in these parts. Price is $3000 for everything plus shipping & insurance. Let me know if you have any questions or if you want any additional photos.

My name is Mitch and my work phone number is 530-938-2437, please call early afternoon or later, I am on the west coast. My cell phone is 510-693-2279, texting is okay. Or you can email me at SW060@aol.com, that is S W zero six zero at aol.com

Items sold as is, no guarantee or warranty expressed or implied.
Sorry, no returns.

You get what is in the photos:

2 E-Mags Series 114 with revision 41 firm ware

3 Sparkplug harness sets, there is one spare set, that is a total of 12 spark plug wires

8 adapters for the automotive sparkplugs

1 genuine Lycoming magneto gear, you use your gear off your non-impulse mag for the 2nd one

1 E I Commander

Manifold pressure sensor for the EI Commander so it will read manifold pressure on the screen if you want that, you don’t have to use this is you don’t need it

Plug & harness for the EI Commander

4 Magneto hold downs and 2 shorter studs. The shorter studs are to replace the long studs from your impulse coupling mag.

Hi Marty, we redid the links to photobucket instead of Google pictures and they appear to be working now. If anybody has any problems just email us and we will send the pictures by email.

Yes, Weed was a lumber town founded by Abner Weed and his descendants still live and work here today. The big Corliss steam engine that ran his lumber mill is in a logging museum at Chiloquin Oregon called Collier State Park. And yes they also grow a lot of weed up here even though it is not legal, this time of year we fly over millions of dollars of pot fields, they are really easy to spot. There is no way the Sheriff doesn't know about them but they don't have near enough man power to go after them all.
