RV8 With Life Flight Swooping In For A Landing

Vans RV8 in the foreground (Not mine). Life Flight swooping in to collect a wounded hang glider.

The emergency personnel were intent on moving the RV8 once they noticed it wasn't tied down to protect it from rotor wash. It became apparent they didn't know how to properly move the RV8 in time for Life Flights arrival so I suggested they physically hold it.

That looks like Steve Payne's airplane. Thanks for making sure it didn't get damaged.

I just added another reason to tie down my aircraft even when left for only short periods - thanks!

I always tie down when at KPFC but now I have even more reason to be sure that I do.
