Fuel gauges

The fuel gauges on my RV 8 only show 15 gallons as full. Tanks hold 21 gallons. Do I have wrong gauges?. Rudder pedals are pilot adjustable and cables are loose till you put your feet on both pedals. Is this normal, rudder works ok in the shop.

All is normal. The fuel floats hit the top of the tank before it is full so you won't see the top six gallons on the gauge.

Rudder cables are fine, the pedals don't have springs to keep the cables taut.

Fuel wiring?

Would either of you know, I have Van's gages with 3 wires (G, I, S) and installing a Dynon D10 EMS with 2 wires (G, 1 pin for left, 1 pin for right). Unreal, Dynon doesn't know. How is it to be wired?

So the old fasioned gauges use +12v,Gnd & Signal

The Dynon gets its +12v elsewhere, that's all. It's just Gnd + Signal
