Fuel System Plumbing

Hello everyone:

I am getting ready to build the fuel tanks. I understand that the plumbing may differ depending upon carbureted vs injected engine. First, can someone confirm my understanding? Second, can one or many of you post schematics/diagrams of the fuel system plumbing that has been successful for you. I plan on using fuel injection however things often change.

Thanks in advance for your information and help.

Cheers,
JMA

The fuel system(s) (and drawings) designed and supplied with the kit will work with an engine with a carb. or fuel injection (just have to choose the drawings for the engine type you have).

Changes are only needed if you want to incorporate inverted flight capability or a fuel purge valve to aid hot starts for the fuel injected engines.
If neither of these apply, you can do it per plans (well proven system).
If you chose to deviate, do so with care..... fuel system related engine stoppage accidents (usually builder design related) are one of the leading engine related accident causes in amateur built aircraft
