Im a few weeks away from installing my Garmin package from Stein. Looking for help regarding the placement of the Garmin remote items on the sub panel. I have the following items that will be installed within the sub panel: GAD 27, GAD29, GEA 24, GTR 20, and GTX 45R.
The lower portion (center) of the sub panel will need to be cut out to accommodate the GNT 650 and if needed, the audio panel too. So Im losing some area there.
The GTX 45R is a head scratcher since its sits in a tray, is 9x6 in dimensions before the wires, and the transponder needs to be accessable and able to slide out of the tray. The tray is designed to be mounted on its side or flat.
Finally, Im very pleased with the Stein group. They did great work and are very helpful. We had our panel blank hydro dipped a carbor fiber design my wife selected. We are very please with how it turned out.
