Vans Brake Fluid Reservoir

All,

Buttoning up the brake system .. how tight are you guys turning the fitting into the stock Vans Brake Fluid Reservoir?

I have it nice and tight but it just keeps turning and turning and turning and I feel like if I keep turning it's just going to split that can right open.

Thoughts?

I would just snug it up enough to keep it from coming loose. Sealing is not an issue since the fluid level should be below the threads. I've never seen a leak as long as I keep the level low enough.

EDIT: I re-read your post and realize you were talking about the bottom fitting. Sorry. Here you would want some kind of sealant. I used Permatex #2.
