Center canopy slide rail location?

The instructions don't really say the for and aft location for the center rail on the -8. Does the front end just butt up againt the anchor block? There isn't enough room under it, which brings up another question. Should the anchor block be mounted as high as it will go, or on the bottom of the rail recepticle?

The block goes against the forward bulkhead as two screws will go through it to secure it in place. The rail can but up against it or slightly back. Go for where it naturally wants to fit due to the curves involved.
