Mock-up engine for cowl fitting??

Hey All,

On my last build I had the engine when I did the cowl fit and cut. Seems like I could have waited to get the engine much later if it weren't for that task. Does anyone know of a source for a jig that puts the flywheel in the proper location for doing the cowl fitment?

I thought about trying to find a ruined case, crank and flywheel, but seems an unlikely bunch of parts to find.

Hi Lance, I have a dyna focal case and a piece of a crankshaft with the flange on it. It might be just what you need. Clint 605 8niner1 1290

What engine model are you putting on? I have a Dynafocal O-320 core that you could borrow. I think the prop flange is in the same location on a 320 as on a 360.
