magneto pickup

I have a mag pickup that threads into the case to pick up rpm. It is a UMA I think and comes with a shielded cable. I am trying to keep all my sensor wires on one side of the firewall and all the power wires, battery, starter, contactors etc on the other side. Is the mag pickup sender particularly noisy? Should I keep it away from my other signal wires? Due to its location it would be very convenient to just bundle it up with all the CHT/EGT wires but is that a bad practice?

thanks

I've installed a couple JPI versions of the same type pickup and all the sensor wires are bundled together with no issues. The receiving end picks up the pulses generated by the sensor and does some math to generate a RPM value (2x for 4 cyl; 3x for 6 cyl).
