Install Kits required ?

As I'm putting together the list for the panel there seems to be an install kit for everything from Garmin. (GTN includes the kit).
For several I can see the kit is just the serial connectors. I was going to crimp my own cables/connectors and have all that. For most others I can't see details of what's in them.

Is there anything in kits for the panel components in general from Garmin that makes sense to buy. I'd get the pitot/AOA mounting kit obviously but don't see one from Garmin yet.

Well the Garmin screens have a mounting kit that is a frame with plate nuts that you rivet to the panel. I bought these for my displays. I think they were around $50/each. Kinda a lot for 4 plate nuts, but I didn't try to fabricate my own solution. Seems pretty easy to do though.
