vA-122 InstallationHi all,

I am building up the FAB air box on my very slow build RV6 and have a question re the VA-122 steel carb heat bracket.

The VA122 has one leg longer than the other and it is not immediately obvious to me which is the "vertical" leg. I am guessing in is the longer leg to suit the Bowden cable. Have seen photos of itthe other way around so suspect that either way will work.

Going from memory here, but I believe the verical arm of that bracket needs to be angled forward. The shape of that part is such that it will only end up in that orientation in one way, meaning if installed the wrong way it would be angled backwards. I know this because I had to install my arm on the left instead of right side due to interference, and had had to fab my own bracket that was a mirror image of the original.
