Starter mount bolt-no washer?

Hi Guys,

The Lycoming manual 5-1 shows the starter mount bolt but no washer while the three nuts have flat and star washers. Am I seeing this correctly?

Does that AN5 bolt get torqued dry or is a locktite type product an approved way to install?

The drawing shows no washers on the bolt but the parts list calls for 4 of each kind of washer; three each for the studs and one each for the bolt?

I think the picture is a little defective...

The parts list call out shows 3 nuts,1 bolt, 4 plain washers and 4 lock washers, at least in my O-360 manual with essentially the same case.

I would follow the parts listing, not the picture.
