rudder pedal

hi all,
can anyone with a flying 12 ballpark how far the nut on the forward side of left rudder pedal is from firewall with full left rudder.

I bought mine from someone else who built it. The end of the bolts on every pedal were denting the firewall. I discovered this at my first annual. We made the wooden jig as called out in the plans and took up the cable slack by drilling new holes in the metal links. I don't know how far all of the bolt ends are now, but none are touching the firewall during full rudder pedal deflection and braking. I'd say that if nothing is touching the firewall, you're good.

Initially both were just touching the firewall. I read a tip somewhere to replace the standard nuts with low profile ones. It worked for me.
