B8 Stick Grip

I have a B8 stick grip originally from a CF101. It has been stored in the basement for many years and has a whitish substance (mold?) covering the black portions of the grip. I?ve tried cleaning it off but it reappears after a few weeks. Anyone know how to permanently clean up these grips? Thanks, Tom
