Lycoming YO360 carb to air box gasket

Hi,

I have installed a new engine and obtained the new airbox kit from Vans.

I cannot obtain the gasket from the bottom of the carb to the air box.

I called the carb manufacturer and they said it was an OEM part.

Vans diagrams show a gasket but not part number.

The air box kit also included a foam block with a part number, what is the foam block used for?

The foam block is used to extend the snorkel on the cowl back to interface with the nose of the airbox. The foam is shaped to fill the gap then fiberglassed. Afterwards the foam is chipped out. As for the gasket, you can always make your own from stock gasket material.
