Default vans isntruments rattle

Hi All,
i have Van's steam gauges for Manifold Pressure and Tachometer. The parts were never used but they are around 10 years old. The Instruments rattle clearly when you shake them and also the clock face does move a little bit. Is this normal? If no: how to fix that?
Thanks, Kay

Default Gauges

Hello Kay, I have the vans gauges in my RV6 and have had one defective fuel gauge over the years. You can disassemble the gauge to locate the rattle, maybe just the nuts and washers on rear terminals are loose.

meanwhile i feel qualified enough to answer my own question. The Instruments are fine. As soon you attach the terminals and tighten the nuts it will not shake anymore.
Thanks David.
