Plane wash

JMHO... I would not use a power wash on anything that is riveted together.

Nor would I use a duster, unless you enjoy doing polishing work afterwards.

Not sure what you do use to lift dust and dirt from unfinished raw aluminum.
 
If you plan on keeping it unpainted, use a good car detergent, but I wouldn't power wash - just get your Marigolds on, fill a pail and get on with it - hose it off.

If you are going to paint at some point, don't use anything with wash/wax in it - use Dawn. no salts in Dawn and it is very frothy.

I know - I am in the Old Country, but I still buy Dawn when in the Colonies as it is good !!!

A 1/2 bucket of worm water and a terry cloth.

I'm in the process of troubleshooting stubborn SL40 comm radio problem and this thread responses gave me good laugh. Well, back to work...
