Landing gear

I have a question to all fellow builders with a tricycle gear model (A).

I am in the process of assembling my landing gear. After tightening to prescribed torque values the four bolts (two each side) "squeezing" the landing gear leg (U-01401) between the steel brackets (U-01402 and U-01403) I still see a gap. Actually, I can even peek to the shanks of the bolts between bracket and bearing surface. It feels strange but the apparently is correct that way.
Can you comfort me? Did you observe the same picture on yours?

PS: I tried to load a picture to this thread but I could not manage it. Too stupid?

Hi, Renzo,

We have a gap in ours, too, between the brackets. I assume that this ensures that the gear leg is properly squeezed between the brackets. If the brackets were touching, then some of the clamping force would be "wasted" on the brackets pushing against each other.

Regards
