I've started reading my copy of the book, and I've noticed several RV pilots' names as rescue pilots. It's an easy-to-read book and tells the story of PnP quite well. It's available on Amazon
in hardcover ($10.49) or as a Kindle download ($7.99).
I continue to think RV's make the best rescue planes because most of our rescues are onesie's or twosies's, and RV's cover so much more ground per hour. We may not be able to save all the homeless pets, but for that one, we are the only hope he/she has.
I just noticed that the full name of the book is "Dog Is My Copilot: Rescue Tales of Flying Dogs, Second Chances, and the Hero Who Might Live Next Door,"
by Patrick Regan.
It will make a nice gift for birthday, holiday, or just whatever.
