Default ADSB Upgrade

Just couldn't resist posting my torn open panel. All I needed to do was replace my 327 transponder with a 345. But, to make that happen, I had to rip open the entire panel. I didn't build this airplane but, should I ever build a RV-8, I'd sure as heck make accessing the avionics a whole lot easier!

I'm taking the opportunity to upgrade some other components. TruTrak make me a great deal on upgrading the DigiFlight II to the Vizion, I'll make some direct connects between the various boxes (AERA 660, 430W, and GTX-345), and correct some other nagging wiring issues. But, it sure looks scary right now!

I've seen a few RV-8's with an access panel between the back of the avionics space and the forward baggage compartment. It may be possible to add that now, while you have everything open, if you are so inclined.
