TCW IBBS backup battery and circuit breakers

Hello,
Trying to solve a paradox!
(see below pic)
TCW suggests output pins 12-14 to be connected directly to alternate power pin input of the various devices. Available for examples in GDU 460 Garmin PFD/MFD panels.
OK, so most people install 3A (5A in below example) circuit breaker from main bus to GDU 460.
In case of a shortage in the panel, the 3A breaker will pop, but than the IBBS passthrough will continue to supply!
scenario 1: A complete shortage in the panel, will pop the 10A CB in the IBBS
=> losing all backups to all devices.
Scenario 2: 10A CB will not pop, which means the panel will over heat with internal shortage, which it should have being shut down by original 3A CB.

Both scenarios are bad.

Thought of a possible solution:
connect both the output of the IBBS and the main bus through a schotky diode , to a CB that will feed both main/alternate power pins
But than, the IBBS internal ideal diode might not work properly as a passthrough, will have to consult with TCW

What say you ?

Thanks!
