W-917 length

The flaps are done,on to the pushrods.drawing 15 shows the length for w917 but not for w918,just the overall length.anyone know where I can find the length to cut the tube?also,do you need to prime the inside of the w918s?thanks Dave

I removed the rust and primed the insides of my W-918's. For length, I think I threaded the rod end bearing onto the threaded rod end an adequate amount (2/3 or whatever the safe suggested amount is) and measured from the center hole of the rod end bearing to the base of the threaded rod end that contacts the W-918. Multiplied that by two and subtracted that from the overall 27.125" hole to hole dimension. I did this task 10 years ago, so my memory is a little rusty.

Thanks Mike,I'll put 1 threaded rod end in and place the other end according to van's measurent's and cut accordingly.
