Fuel Line Fitting Question (AN5 to 1/8 NPT)

Hi all,

I am replacing my fuel divider and noticed the new fuel divider has a much smaller AN fitting than what was originally on the engine.

The fuel line going into the old fuel divider is a AN5 which is an odd ball size from what I am learning.

To make my new fuel divider work with my setup is either:
1) replace the fuel line with a new size fitting that works with the fitting on the new fuel divider

2) Or replace the fitting on the fuel divider. I need an AN5 to 1/8 NTP 90.

I was thinking the easier of the two would be getting a fitting but I am coming to learn that the size I need is hard to find. I called a specialty shop and they can get me a brass 90 in the size. Steel or aluminum Is unavailable.

Question:
1) is it ok to have an AN5 to 1/8 NTP fitting in the engine compartment?
2) is it ok to connect a brass fitting to an aluminum fitting? I have only seen alum to alum or steel to alum.?

Thanks,
D
