Default AirFlow Performance

I converted my 0-360 RV9a from carb to FI back a couple of years ago using the AFP unit that does not require the return system. Works great and Don and his folks are very helpful after the sale. Don was able to tune mine to a point where all cylinders peak (egt) within .2 gph of each other.

The support after the sale was very good--and that does matter!

Cheers,

db

Default Avstar

Since David down under is advising against Avstar, I will chime in again. Been flying my new RV8 for about a month now. This is since my first post in this thread. Once again, I get book fuel flows on take off, EGT's peak nearly simultaneously, and very minor idle mixture tweaking RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX!!!! This has been our experience with at least a half dozen Avstars locally.
I will say that Don at Airflow Performance has always been very helpful whenever we have had issues with his systems.

Dittos on the Avstar on my Vans YIO-360-M1B. Simple installation, no return plumbing, and has required zero adjustments out of the box.
