Default Airplane hangar near El Paso Tx that could squeeze a -7 in.

Heading to El Paso for some military training and would love to fly but I donít want to leave the plane out or pay a fortune. Probably be the last 10 days of the month or so. If anyone has some space let me know. Thanks

Nick

Nick: was going to mention Horizon Airport, also know as West Texas Airport, T27, (which was actually east of town), but preface it by saying it has been awhile. Quick Google search advises it is permanently closed. Too bad.
Years ago, as a CAF member, I flew a Taylorcraft L-2, an A-65 powered, hand prop, non electric, WWII liason aircraft, from Seattle area to the CAF museum in Midland, TX. It was quite the adventure, including losing a side window panel while airborne somewhere over the desert southwest. I touched down at West Texas but had to leave the plane there for a week or two to fly another trip. Upon my return, Phil Barrett, the field's owner, not only hangered her but replaced the window panel as well. What a guy!
I see he's deceased now, which evidently forced a sale of the field, which even then was being swallowed up by urban sprawl. Probably a couple hundred houses there now.
Good luck in your hangar search.

Default DNA EAA Chapter

You might consider contacting the nearest EAA chapter which is Santa Teresa, NM (KDNA as already suggested).
About 20 miles away.
